If you are still having issues after updating your drivers please could you send us your DxDiag so we can look into this issue further.

Any error msgs? If a game failed to launch past the initial install where it first tries to install 3rd party apps/runtimes, such as DirectX, Visual C++, etc. Then go to game properties > local files > verify game cache.

It's hard to try and think about something when you guys act, maybe not you, like if there was a technician sitting right besides you. It doesn't hold true, the OS thing, because in M$'s infinite pursuit for a monopoly has made the DX11 refreshes exclusive to Windows 8.
