That's probably what Levon Helm would've done if he drummed on this record instead of Ringo/Jim Gordon, which would've been a possibility cause Harrison was friends with The Band • • • •. I rue the day that George chose to go with Spector over George Martin.

Who better to produce than the man who was instrumental in the development of The Beatles 'sound'? Even now, I hold out some fanciful idea of him, Paul, Ringo and/or Dhani collaborating to create a so-called 'naked' version of this album. Say what you will about the others, but as far as I'm concerned George had incredible talent. Make no mistake, I loved them all, but when all is said and done, no one was as broad as George or developed as a songsmith at such breakneck speed.

It's no surprise that John and Paul in the post Beatle era both acknowledged, on more that one occasion, that they had grossly underrated and underestimated George's offerings. And so here we are, wondering what 'All Things Must Pass' would have sounded like being given the full 'Beatle' treatment. Thanks so much for your post.
