Also you might try and see if steam will acept the key(s). If it does that might be easier and avoid the securom thing. Dr. F 21:14, October 26, 2011 (UTC) Yeah, I finally got around to sending a message to GBX and they replied w/ really helpful info, it installed perfectly and runs, so i decided to get the oasis and TCN, but when I go to load TCN it just stops working (i do have dr. So I recently just got my new copy of Borderlands from Amazon. So I'm all happy, use the offline manual activation program, it works, then I try to install my game. It gets to zero, then a message pops up saying that it can't connect to the internet.

Go to your Steam Library and select Tools. Look for Borderlands Granting Tool in the list. Right-click on it and select Install Game. After installation insert your Borderlands retail DISC 2 into the DVD-ROM. Now right-click on Borderlands Granting Tool and select Play Game.

Follow the setup. Now you have Borderlands in your Steam Library. PS: For those that own Borderlands GOTY follow the instructions above and after activate the DLC serial found in the box thrugh Add a Game/Activate a Product on Steam. Enjoy Borderlands and wait for the Borderlands Multiplayer update via Steam.
